Once you’ve identified your buyer personas, and created your brand, the most powerful technique for conveying that brand to your various buyer personas is by becoming a Thought Leader – one who takes the initiative in educating the consumer base about your industry: its purpose, the differences between competitors, varying degrees of quality, and the answers to its frequently asked questions.
Thought leadership is a powerful practice, particularly online. Not only will you be flooding the internet with keyword-rich content to be indexed by search engines (see SEO section for more), but you’ll be engendering the kind of trust that people naturally feel towards an expert in any given field. You know your business better than they do. Give them an insight into both your expertise and your passion.
